Nutrition53 Gives Support For Newtown Community Recovery

Nutrition53 announced that 5% of its profits for the week of February18 - 24 of the Daytona500 will go to the Sandy Hook School Support Fund to remember the families and victims of the Newtown tragedy last December.

This donation is in line with NASCAR, Swan Racing and Michael Waltrip's joint support for the cause. Driven by Waltrip, the No. 30 Lean1 Swan Racing Toyota will instead garner the No. 26 Sandy Hook School Support Fund Toyota to honor the 26 victims of Sandy Hook Elementary School.

What perfect place to raise attention and donations than through NASCAR's loyal fans and Nutririon53's customers. With Lean1 as an official Swan Racing sponsor, fans are anticipated to actively join this cause and embody the true dynamic spirit that is Lean1. Everyone is encouraged to make a $10 donation by texting NEWTOWN to 80888.

According to a statement by Nutrition53 CEO Bill Romanowski, “Our hope is that the commitment as a company and commitment by the Romanowski Family will be able to generate a nice donation from our loyal and new customers that would like to partake in this special offer.”

The entire NASCAR community and anyone willing to participate can contribute to the Sandy Hook School Support Fund by texting NEWTOWN to 80888. For those without short-code texting plans with their wireless carriers, donations can also be made online at newtown.uwwesternct.org or by mail to:
