LEAN1 DRIVES HEALTHY PARTNERSHIP WITH SONOMA

Lean1 is the new official sponsor of Sonoma Raceway as NASCAR debuts its new road-course qualifying format on “Lean1 Pole Day” at the Toyota/Save Mart 350 Sprint Cup Series event on June 22, Saturday.

Nutrition53 signed a 3-year deal with Sonoma, which makes Lean1 the official health supplement sponsor of Sonoma Raceway as well as title sponsorship for Lean1, renaming the NASCAR Sprint Cup Qualifiers to“Lean1 Pole Day.” The sponsorship includes Lean1 Pole Day tickets for a retail-oriented promotion, as well as sampling rights, hospitality, signage and other assets during race weekend. Lean1 also receives the right to use the Sonoma Raceway name and logo for promotional purposes.

Kicking off this new partnership is the debut of NASCAR’s new format on Lean1 Pole Day. With the new procedure, cars will now go out in groups with the cars on track for a set period of time and time starts when the first car in its group takes the green flag. A car’s best lap time during the session will be the qualifying time of record. Aside from speed, now a driver has to consider other drivers to qualify.
