Romo’s Favorite Lean1 Shake Recipe

April 24, 2008

It’s no surprise since I worked on the formula, Lean1 has got to be my all-time, high-performance, protein shake.  It tastes awesome, fills me up, and fuels me for my next workout or meeting in the office.  And believe me, I have tried them all in my NFL days!  No other formula has the complete protein blend, fiber, organic fruits and vegetables, omega-3 oils, and heart-healthy polyphenols that Lean1 contains. Here is my favorite way to make an awesome Lean1 shake.

In a blender or big glass, mix the following:

3 Scoops Vanilla Raspberry Lean1

1/2 Cup Fresh or Frozen Raspberries

1/2 Cup Fresh or Frozen Blueberries

1/2 Cup Fresh or Frozen Strawberries

10 Ounces Cold Water

Blend on high until all the ingredients are smooth.  You can also use an immersion blender in a big glass to blend your shake.  For an even thicker, creamier shake, substitue low-fat milk for water.

Give this recipe a try and also experiment with different ingredients that might add something special to your shake.  You can leave a comment below with other Lean1 shake ideas you want to share with me or other Lean1 fans.

I call this my poor man’s shake. I just use 2 scoops of my Lean1 Choc, 8ozs of water, 3-4 ice cubes, and blend. This makes a nice cool, thicker shake. Easy & cheap. It is a cool treat/meal that is good for me and keeps me in line with my diet reqirements.

    Excellent products guys!!!!

The Banana Cream flavor is perhaps the best tasting protein/meal shake in history.

    My advice on product use:

Peel and slice a very ripe banana and put it in the freezer overnight. Put the frozen slices in the blender with a packet (or 2) of the Banana Cream Lean1 flavor, add milk to your desired viscosity, and grind it up in the blender.

I am a marathon runner, 39 years old, 2:18 best time (Berlin 2002) and I am amazed at my speed of recovery from hard training after taking the Lean1 shakes.
