Summer Swimming

June 30, 2008

Summer is here and everyone wants to have fun, enjoy the weather, and feel great in their swimsuit.  Splashing around is one way you can accomplish all three of these things.  In addition to the aerobic benefits, muscle toning, and pleasantry of cooling off, swimming is an incredible way to help you meet your fitness goals.

For an average, 150 lb adult, a leisurely swim can burn over 400 calories an hour!  One willing to get a little more serious and swim the freestyle at a moderate pace can burn over 600 calories an hour.  At that rate and and with no dietary changes, an average person can shed almost 2.5 lbs a month by swimming for one hour three times a week!  And the really great news is that swimming is fun, relaxing, and enjoyable.  You can do it with your friends, family, or by yourself, morning, day or night.

Swimming can really work up an appetite and our Lean1 is the best way to satisfy your hunger while getting the incredibly well-balanced nutrition of lean proteins, powerful antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, daily fiber, organic fruits and vegetables, and natural energizers.  So go ahead, take a splash this summer and then treat yourself to a deliciousness of a Lean1 shake.

Living Dreams

June 19, 2008

“Mr. Romanowski,

I finished your book about a week ago. I’ve been debating whether I should write this or not but I think you should know how you impact people’s lives.

I have four small children and I find myself accepting that I will never reach all the personal dreams I have set for myself before I started having children. I’ve always wanted to finish my degree and never have had the time or money. After I read your book I felt inspired, inspired to tackle each obstacle in my life, like you have done throughout your life. I felt like I was on the field breaking fingers after I closed your book. I’ve picked up a second job to afford the tuition and I’m enrolling for online classes so I don’t have to be away from my babies. You helped me realize that my dreams are only out of reach if I decide not to reach for them! You never let anything get in your way and while climbing to the top you helped everyone around you be his or her best. That is a rare quality to have and you should be proud of what a giving and talented man you are. Your book is incredible and I have passed it on to my father to read. I’ve recommended it to everyone in the company. Thank you for inspiring me. You have made me a better person through your words!!!!”

-Jamie, Senior Marketing Analyst

Thank you for the very complimentary letter.  I am happy my own experiences could help someone like you so much. Wishing you and your family all the best, Jamie!  I know you can get reach your dream of finishing your degree!

Team53 At The San Jose International Triathlon!

June 17, 2008

Last weekend, Team53 was fortunate enough to support the San Jose International Triathlon at Lake Almaden.  Over a thousand participants showed up early Sunday morning to test their strength and endurance against some of the fastest triathletes in the world!  Romo even had some fun announcing over the loudspeaker during the race.  Maybe next time he will be racing as well?

Michael Ingaria of San Jose, California, won the men’s race in a time of 1:58:24, while Lynice Anderson of Reno, Nevada, took the victory for the women in a time of 2:14:49.  The course covered a 1.25 Kilometer swim, 40 Kilometer bike, and 10 Kilometer run.

“Triathlon is an awesome sport,” says Nutrtion53 Founder, Bill Romanowski. “From what I’ve seen at this race, the athletes are dedicated, enthusiastic, and very fast!  I am thrilled we can support them and I know our Nutrition53 products can help them perform at their best”

You can find Team53 next at the Folsom International Triathlon later this summer.
